Finish the Run is a movement of people inspired by the life of David Forster.
David Forster was an elite marathon runner who collapsed and passed away suddenly while on a training run the evening of June 24, 2016.
He was 27 ½ years old. But he was no ordinary runner or human being. David left his mark on all who knew him~ it was his ability to listen, to care, to connect people and to embrace life with intention that has inspired so many to continue to work to make this world a better place, just like David did in his short 27+ years on this earth. We are taking the baton from David to create a movement to “Finish The Run”—to live our own lives with intention, and the kind of integrity, honesty, love & listening skills, that David displayed, so subtly but completely, every day of his life. David lived every day making an impact on others, albeit unintentionally, through listening, caring and then genuinely reacting and responding, one person, one heartfelt gesture at a time.
